Feature Overview: Box Call Logs & Meeting Notes
Streak + Gmail is a match made in heaven! We understand, though, that some communication with customers is done over the phone or in person. Streak's Call Logs and Meeting Notes features are used to track activity that happen outside of email. Call Logs and Meeting Notes help you track the date, time, and type of each conversation, making them easy to search for in your Pipeline.
To Create A Call Log Or Meeting Note
- Scroll to the contents section of your Box
- Click + and select to add a Call Log or Meeting Note
- Add your notes
- Click Save and Close to save
For ease of use, we’ve automatically scraped the time/date and included a timer option. The timer will run until you stop it or 'save and close' the Call Log or Meeting Note. If you’re logging a call or meeting that has already happened, use the ‘choose time’ option to select a pre-set call length.

When a Call Log or Meeting Note is open, you are free to move around your inbox. If you need to quick jump back to your Box, simply click the Box button at the bottom of the Call Log or Meeting Note. You can also add a Task directly from your Call Log or Meeting Note!
Where can I find my Call Logs and Meeting Notes?
A Box's Call Logs and Meeting Notes can be found in the Box's detail view. The Box's timeline will keep record of your Call Logs and Meeting Notes listed in chronological order of creation.
Information about your Box's Call Logs and Meeting Notes can be extracted from the Box level and added to your Pipeline with a few of our Magic Columns selections, such as Total Call Logs or Date of First Meeting Note.
To Delete A Call Log Or Meeting Note
Call Logs and Meeting Notes are pieces of data that only exist in the Streak extension. To delete a Call Log or Meeting Note, hover over the item in the Box's timeline and click Delete. Deleting a Call Log or Meeting Note can be done so from the Box details view in the Box's timeline- please note that this is a permanent action that cannot be undone.
