You can tailor how Streak behaves in your Gmail inbox by adjusting your Streak Settings. From enabling email tracking by default to managing notifications and customizing box behavior, here's how to navigate and configure these settings to best suit your workflow.

How to Access Streak Settings

  1. Open Gmail and click the gear icon ⚙️ in the upper-right corner.

  2. Click “See all settings.”

  3. Go to the Streak Settings tab (you’ll see it between "Keyboard Shortcuts" and "Streak Email Settings").

Alternatively, you can click on the Streak icon and navigate to the Settings page directly:

📥 Inbox Settings

Add To Box Button

  • Enabled: Adds a quick "Add to Box" button to emails so you can associate them with Streak boxes in one click from the inbox view.

  • Disabled: Hides this button from your inbox view.

Box Indicators in Inbox

Choose what information shows on the label when emails are linked to a box:

  • Box name

  • Pipeline name

  • Stage

  • Assigned To

✉️ Email Tracking

Track Emails by Default

  • Enabled: Automatically enables email and link tracking when composing a new email or mail merge.

  • Disabled: You’ll need to manually toggle tracking each time.

⚡ Snippets Settings

Snippets Autocomplete

  • Enabled: As you type, Streak will suggest relevant snippets to insert based on your snippet shortcuts.

  • Disabled: No autocomplete suggestions for snippets.

🔔 Notification Settings

Stay on top of changes happening in your pipelines and boxes.

Changes to Boxes You Follow

This setting is for boxes you explicitly follow or boxes that you are assigned to. You can get notified when:

  • Stage changes

  • New comments

  • You are assigned to a box

  • Data fields change

Choose between Email, Browser notifications, or both.

Changes to All Other Boxes

Covers boxes you have access to but don’t actively follow. You can be notified when:

  • A box stage changes

  • Comments are added

  • Data is updated

  • A new box is created

Other Notifications

Manage reminders for:

  • Tasks due

  • Tasks completed by others

  • Call logs and meeting notes

  • Pipeline imports

  • When a tracked email is read or clicked

🧠 Tips:

  • For fewer emails, use browser notifications.

  • Use Gmail filters to skip the inbox and fine-tune the changes you care about.
