You can tailor how Streak behaves in your Gmail inbox by adjusting your Streak Settings. From enabling email tracking by default to managing notifications and customizing box behavior, here's how to navigate and configure these settings to best suit your workflow.
How to Access Streak Settings
Open Gmail and click the gear icon ⚙️ in the upper-right corner.
Click “See all settings.”
Go to the Streak Settings tab (you’ll see it between "Keyboard Shortcuts" and "Streak Email Settings").
Alternatively, you can click on the Streak icon and navigate to the Settings page directly:
📥 Inbox Settings
Add To Box Button
Enabled: Adds a quick "Add to Box" button to emails so you can associate them with Streak boxes in one click from the inbox view.
Disabled: Hides this button from your inbox view.
Box Indicators in Inbox
Choose what information shows on the label when emails are linked to a box:
Box name
Pipeline name
Stage
Assigned To
✉️ Email Tracking
Track Emails by Default
Enabled: Automatically enables email and link tracking when composing a new email or mail merge.
Disabled: You’ll need to manually toggle tracking each time.
⚡ Snippets Settings
Snippets Autocomplete
Enabled: As you type, Streak will suggest relevant snippets to insert based on your snippet shortcuts.
Disabled: No autocomplete suggestions for snippets.
🔔 Notification Settings
Stay on top of changes happening in your pipelines and boxes.
Changes to Boxes You Follow
This setting is for boxes you explicitly follow or boxes that you are assigned to. You can get notified when:
Stage changes
New comments
You are assigned to a box
Data fields change
Choose between Email, Browser notifications, or both.
Changes to All Other Boxes
Covers boxes you have access to but don’t actively follow. You can be notified when:
A box stage changes
Comments are added
Data is updated
A new box is created
Other Notifications
Manage reminders for:
Tasks due
Tasks completed by others
Call logs and meeting notes
Pipeline imports
When a tracked email is read or clicked

For fewer emails, use browser notifications.
Use Gmail filters to skip the inbox and fine-tune the changes you care about.
