How to Cancel Your Streak Pro+ Trial and Avoid Charges
Streak allows users to explore Pro+ features through a 14- day trial period, but it’s crucial to understand the billing implications to avoid unnecessary charges. Below, we’ll clarify what happens after a trial period, how to cancel, and what to expect post-cancellation.
Will I Be Charged After My Streak Pro+ Trial?
If you have added a payment method: You will be charged for the Pro+ plan when your trial ends unless you cancel before the trial expiration date.
If no payment method is on file and you do not cancel your trial before it expires: Streak will automatically downgrade to the free version of Streak and you will not be charged.
If you have canceled your trial: Once your trial is canceled, your account will automatically revert to Streak’s free version, and no charges will be incurred. Note that even after cancellation, you will remain on trial until the trial period officially ends, but you won’t be billed if the cancellation process is complete and your plan reflects the free version.
Steps to Cancel Your Free Trial
Follow these steps to ensure your trial is canceled and avoid charges:
Go to the Manage Teams page within Streak (Select the Streak Icon at the top of Gmail > select the "Manage Teams" icon at the top right)
Select the Cancel option next to your Pro+ trial.
It’s important to complete the cancellation process before the trial end date to avoid being charged.
Common Misconceptions
Message about trial expiration: If your trial has been canceled, the message “expiring in X days” might still appear in your account. This simply refers to the countdown of the trial’s original duration and doesn’t indicate that you’ll be charged. As long as your plan shows the free version, you’re safe from any fees.
