Streak says I have 3rd party cookies disabled, now what?

By allowing Streak access to your cookies, you are granting Streak the ability to 'remember' that you have already logged into your account. This way, Streak will not have to ask for permission each time you log into Gmail. Please see below for steps on granting Streak access to use your cookies.

To resolve this problem you can either enable all third-party cookies, or grant Streak a special exception in Chrome.

Enable third-party cookies

In Safari:

  1. Click Safari in the upper left hand side of your screen
  2. In the menu that appears, click Preferences
  3. In the window that appears, click the Privacy tab
  4. Under Cookies and Website Data select 'Always Allow'
  5. Refresh your Gmail and you should be good to go!

In Chrome:

  1. Navigate to chrome://settings
  2. At the bottom of the browser click Show advanced settings
  3. Click on the Content Settings button of the Privacy section
  4. Under the Cookies section, uncheck 'Block third-party cookies and site data'
  5. Refresh your Gmail and you should be good to go!

To give Streak a special exception in Chrome:

  1. Navigate to chrome://settings
  2. At the bottom of the browser click Show advanced settings
  3. Click on the Content Settings button of the Privacy section
  4. Under the Cookies section, click the Manage Exceptions button
  5. In the pop up, list "mailfoogae.appspot.com" in the Hostname pattern and ensure the Behavior is set to 'Allow'
  6. Refresh your Gmail and you should be good to go!
